Beauty Shopping with my BFF at CVS/pharmacy.

Don't you just love sharing beauty secrets with your best friend? I feel that way about you guys — I guess that is one reason I started Beautiful Makeup Search. From way back when, I've been sharing beauty secrets, tips and product recommendations with my BFF, who just so happens to be my sister Cindi. Cindi always asks me for a "yay or nay?" before buying any beauty product and we often go beauty shopping together because it's just easier. Over the weekend we went on a little beauty shopping spree at one of our favorite places to shop for beauty; we went beauty shopping at CVS/pharmacy.

$100 Drugstore Beauty Haul: See how much you can get at CVS when shopping with coupons and ExtraBucks for just $100.

I live in a small suburb but am lucky enough to have two CVS/pharmacy stores in my town. Both of these stores have fabulous beauty sections that are entirely different from each other so all of my drugstore beauty needs are covered. I know that by shopping for beauty at CVS/pharmacy I have all the benefits of the Beauty Club loyalty program that helps its 18 million+ members save BIG on beauty everyday. Cindi and I went into CVS with $100 and armed with a bunch of coupons including a 20% of shopping pass and some ExtraBucks® Rewards that we had each saved. The plan was that we would each spend about $50 (after coupons) and look for some new beauty products and pick up a few favorites too.

First up was the makeup aisle, of course. There are so many great new fall beauty products at CVS/pharmacy. Plus, CVS/pharmacy has NYX and e.l.f. in store now too. Woo!

Cindi took f-o-r-e-v-e-r picking out makeup. I helped her pick out a few great makeup items that were new to her including:

Maybelline The Nudes palette
L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor
e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick
NYX Mineral Matte Finishing Power
L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray

I was looking for a few things but wasn't sure of anything specific. I just broke my eyelash curler, so I needed to look for a new one and I needed a liquid eyeliner so the search was on for a few to try. Here are the makeup items I decided on:

Revlon Liquid Liner
L'Oréal Voluminous Superstar Liquid Eyeliner
L'Oréal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick
e.l.f. Eyelash Curler

The only thing we both knew we wanted was a new mascara. Cindi picked up the new L'Oreal Voluminous Super Star Mascara (she put it on as soon as we got back to my house and she LOVES it!) and I picked up Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara (review soon).

CVS/pharmacy is also the perfect place to stock up on regular beauty items like haircare and skincare products so that is what Cindi and I did as well. We each have our regular favorite beauty items that we both needed so that is what we decided to stock up on to complete our $100 shopping spree. These items were:

Nivea Lip Butter
Dove Dry Shampoo
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash
Pond's Wet Cleansing Towelettes
Suave Blow Dry Spray
Vaseline Lip Therapy

I can't believe we got so many beauty products for $100! I swear I could win at a price challenge each and every time because our grand total after discounts was $100.48. We got SO much!

Drugstore beauty haul!

We saved so much because Cindi and I are both members of the CVS Beauty Club and had our ExtraBucks® Rewards to spend.

The CVS Beauty Club has a lot of great perks; you have to sign up if you are not already a member! CVS Beauty Club members receive incredible beauty benefits and savings all year long just by shopping for beauty products at CVS/pharmacy, which include:

  • $5 ExtraBucks® Rewards for every $50 spent on qualifying beauty products. This includes cosmetics, skincare, haircare, hair appliances, hair accessories, hair color and fragrance.
  • 10% off beauty shopping pass upon sign up
  • $3 ExtraBucks® Rewards on your birthday

I'd love to know how much you save on your beauty shopping at CVS/pharmacy too.

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post in collaboration with CVS/pharmacy. I was provided a gift card to shop and compensated to write a post about CVS Beauty Club, but as always, all opinions are my own.
